Hui O Ka Wai Ola Water Quality Monitoring

Displays sites where coastal water quality measurements are sampled by "Hui O Ka Wai Ola" ("Association Of The Living Waters"), an informed network of citizen science volunteers on Maui. Measurements of nutrients, sediments, and ocean chemistry are used to assess water quality. These and other water measurements (temperature, salinity, pH, etc.) are collected periodically at several beaches throughout the island.

time period: irregular; measurements collected roughly every 2-3 weeks at some beaches; data disseminated quarterly.
