Posted December 7, 2022The 10-Year Outlook describes the Pacific Island Ocean Observing System’s (PacIOOS) vision for advancing coastal and ocean observing throughout the Pacific Islands region in the upcoming decade. PacIOOS’ 5-Year Strategic Framework and the 10-Year Outlook go hand in hand, guiding the long-term direction and development of the system. PacIOOS’ Core Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles serve as the foundation to achieve the outlined milestones. PacIOOS would like to thank our staff, collaborators, partners, stakeholders, and users who provided invaluable input to develop this forward-looking outlook.
