Abstract:

High-frequency radar (HFR) measurements of water velocity are radial in direction relative to the radar location and representative of the upper 0.3-2.5 meters of the water. These data are from station KAP at Kapolei near Barbers Point on the west shore of the island of Oahu in the State of Hawaii.

Purpose:

PacIOOS provides timely, reliable, and accurate ocean information to support a safe, clean, productive ocean and resilient coastal zone in the U.S. Pacific Islands region.
