Citizen Scientists Training Session

Please join us for two informational and interactive evenings to learn more about rising sea levels, King Tides, and wave run-up.

Participants will also find out how to help document associated impacts along the shoreline of West Maui. Become part of this crowd-sourced citizen science effort to capture impacts, changes, and inform the development of a new wave run-up forecast specifically for West Maui.

WEST MAUI – Wednesday, May 29th

West Maui Senior Center, 788 Pauoa Street, Lahaina

Pizza and snacks provided (first come first serve) at 5:00pm

KIHEI – Thursday, May 30th

Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, 726 South Kihei Road, Kihei
