Color Bands

The maximum number of colors to allow in the resulting overlay. Must be a number between 2 and 256. For example, use two color bands to distinguish high values in one color and low values in another. Or use three bands to show highs, mediums, and lows. In general, use fewer bands to discern discrete categories (quantitative assessment) and more bands to express a fuller spectrum of possible data values (qualitative assessment).
