Displays the locations of available marine dumping areas for the State of Hawaiʻi as recorded on NOAA nautical charts. Regulations for ocean dumping sites are contained in Title 40 ("Protection of Environment), Subchapter H ("Ocean Dumping"), Parts 220-229 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR 220-229). Additional information concerning the regulations and requirements for use of these sites may be obtained from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
