NOAA Nautical Charts

Nautical charts show water depth, shorelines, prominent topographic features, aids to navigation, and other navigational information. Here we display the NOAA Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) Direct to GIS map service, which provides a seamless, collarless mosaic of NOAA nautical charts across all available regions. Source data are updated at NOAA once per week, and they caution that this map service does not meet U.S. Coast Guard chart carriage requirements for commercial vessels.

note: Ocean depth soundings are in fathoms and refer to Mean Lower Low Water. Heights of rocks, bridges, landmarks and lights are in feet and refer to Mean High Water. Contour and summit elevation values are in feet and refer to Mean Sea Level.
