USGS Stream Gauges

Identifies the locations of stream gauges operated by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). A stream gauge, or stream gage, refers to a site along a stream where measurements of volumetric discharge (flow) are made. In addition to monitoring water availability, stream gauges are indispensable for flood forecasting and warning along rivers and streams.
